A Hollywood producer awakens the morning before Thanksgiving in his Santa Fe home with no memory of the previous night. On the flight back to Los Angeles, the plane breaks down in a small town. During the layover he reads in the newspaper that the bodies of his wife, a business partner and a third man--assumed to be him--have been found in the guest room of the Santa Fe residence.
