Notes

Description
We have so much to be proud of in our Mad River Valley. We grew from mills and farmland to three world-class ski mountains, yet maintained the pristine landscape so faithfully that there is not one traffic light here. From such can-do spirit was the Take Me Back project born. A few articles became a column, and then a 501(c)3 non-profit, and now a book. One hundred percent of the book's purchase price will go to support local organizations showcasing our beloved valley's history. Also in the spirit of can-do and let's-help, contributors in this book donated their work. Local businesses paid for design and printing. This is, like so much of the Valley's heritage, a home-grown product from start to finish. And that makes it a perfect keepsake for generations to come. --,From the back cover.
